Picasso at the Lapin Agile

March 20, 21, 27, 28 & 29, 2015

On an October evening in 1904, Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso end up at the same small bar in Paris—the Lapin Agile. It’s the dawn of the twentieth century, and Paris is the place to be for great thinkers on the rise.  Against the backdrop of a fashionable saloon, witness an historic (and fictional) meeting between Pablo Picasso and a young Albert Einstein.  Two men, each on the verge of greatness, spend an evening matching wit and talent along with a colorful variety of other patrons.  A highbrow/lowbrow/everybrow comedy from the mind of Steve Martin (yes, that Steve Martin).  Adam Arterbridge has gathered a talented cast to bring this delightful show to our stage.
